NFL NETWORK TO DEBUT PRIME-TIME SERIES APRIL 6

PLAYERS AND COACHES STORIES “IN THEIR OWN WORDS”

In a stark departure from the classic documentary style, NFL Network will let the NFL’s most successful and intriguing coaches and players tell their own stories on a new show called In Their Own Words, airing Tuesday’s at 9 PM ET/PT beginning April 6. 

The new, 20-episode series uses rare interviews, archival action footage and exclusive sound captured on the field, on the sidelines and in the locker room on each subject, to tell a story in his own words, without the use of a host or narration.

In Their Own Words gives fans unprecedented access to NFL personalities as they reveal their intensity, humor, competitiveness and humanity in each one-hour episode.  

Scheduled profiles airing Tuesdays at 9:00 PM ET/PT are:

In Their Own Words is one of several new programs coming to NFL Network in April.  The month of April will feature the most comprehensive Draft coverage available anywhere.  The nascent channel that launched in November has already been honored with three Sports Emmy nominations and will be home to 22 NFL Europe League games this spring.
