Chicago Housing Authority Helps Bears And NFL Implement
Youth Football Program At City Recreational Facilities

WHAT: Chicago Bears rookie running back DARNELL AUTRY will help several hundred children from Chicago develop football skills at the Chicago Bears NFL C.I.T.Y. (Challenge and Inspire Today’s Youth) Football Summer Day Camp, a free youth football day camp sponsored by the Chicago Bears, the NFL and the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA). Autry, who starred at Northwestern University, will help teach local boys and girls ages 6-14, how to catch, throw and run with a football at the camp which provides children from "at-risk" communities with a free organized recreational summer football program in their own neighborhood. Autry will sign autographs for the children and will be available for media interviews.
  The Chicago Bears NFL C.I.T.Y. Football Summer Day Camp is part of the NFL’s "Play Football" initiative to provide exciting new opportunities for children to play, watch and experience the game of football.
