NFL UNDER THE HELMET FEATURES KURT WARNER’S GREATEST PLAYS, "BACK IN THE DAY" WITH BALTIMORE’S RAY LEWIS, AND ATLANTA’S JAMAL ANDERSON TURNED ENTERTAINMENT REPORTER

New York, December 13, 1999 – St. Louis Rams quarterback KURT WARNER has thrown 34 touchdown passes this season, leading the Rams to their first NFC West division title since 1985. Now, fans can relive his greatest moments of 1999 on the next installment of NFL Under the Helmet, airing Saturday at noon on Fox. (Check local listings).

Warner’s highlights will be shown to Everlast’s hit song, "Today." Warner, who came to the Rams following a record-setting stint in the NFL Europe League, is among the NFL’s hottest players.

"We have to keep winning and can’t let up," says Warner. "The recognition our team has gotten is nice, but what we’re looking for is the big prize at the end of the year."

From a streaking offensive star to a standout on the other side of the ball, NFL Under the Helmet goes "Back in the Day" with Baltimore linebacker Ray Lewis.

Among the most ferocious tacklers in the game, Lewis describes his early days on the gridiron and how he scored his first touchdown of organized football.

"It was a high school game," says the Lakeland, Florida native. "I took a kickoff return back about 70 yards. As I got near the end zone, I saw my mother there waiting for me. I’ll never forget that moment."

From high school to Hollywood, JAMAL ANDERSON of the Atlanta Falcons turns entertainment reporter for a day, as he sits down with actor TIM ALLEN.

The duo discusses football, show business and life in the spotlight.

NFL Under the Helmet airs every Saturday at noon eastern on FOX-TV. The show is hosted by RON PITTS and JILL ARRINGTON.
