NFL UNDER THE HELMET FEATURES WOMEN’S WORLD CUP SENSATION BRANDI CHASTAIN AND A LIVE MUSICAL PERFORMANCE FROM HOT NEW BAND LIT

The seventh episode of NFL Under the Helmet goes coast to coast this week taking viewers from the Bronx to Los Angeles with surprising features combining NFL action, live music and unexpected personalities and guests.

The program opens with a look at Philadelphia Eagles cornerback’s Troy Vincent off-season exploits as a motorcycle drag racing team owner. The segment follows his team’s racing exploits in Denver and his tips for team driver Antron Brown.

The show leaves the Rocky Mountains and heads to the Sunshine State for a look at Tampa Bay Buccaneer’s Warren Sapp. The Pro Bowl defensive lineman recalls his days of playing football as a child and his dream of playing in the NFL one day in the show’s weekly "Back in the Day" segment.

After Florida, the show moves to Ohio where Women’s World Cup sensation Brandi Chastain compares kicking techniques with the Brown’s Phil Dawson. This is the first of several upcoming reports by Chastain, who will serve as the show’s roving feature reporter.

The show heads back east, taking a look at the NFL’s new Junior Player Development Program. The tackle football program was designed for middle school boys who may not have been exposed to formal football instructions. The program was successfully tested at Kennedy High School in the Bronx and this segment follows some motivated New York youngsters as the progress through the program.

The program concludes back on the studio set in Los Angeles, where show hosts Ron Pitts and Jill Arrington welcome RCA Records’ hot new rockers Lit to the program. This LA-based band will perform "Zip Lock" in a special tribute to the St. Louis Rams wide receiver Isaac Bruce. Bruce and his teammates remain the NFL’s only undefeated team as the season heads into week seven.

NFL Under the Helmet is an FCC-friendly show geared to teens that airs Saturdays at 12 noon ET on FOX-TV (viewers should check their local listings).
