NFL UNDER THE HELMET SUPER BOWL SHOW FOCUSES ON THE RAMS AND TITANS; SHOW BLENDS
CONTEMPORARY MUSIC WITH THE YEARS GREATEST PLAYS
ATLANTA, JANUARY 25 The years greatest plays, from Kickoff Weekend to the Conference Championship Games, is the focus of this weekends NFL UNDER THE HELMET. The show, which airs on FOX at 12 noon ET on Saturday, January 29, also features highlights from the Titans and Rams run to the Super Bowl.
In the "Play Action" segment, the best plays from last Sundays Championship Games will be presented to the hit song "Take A Picture" by new band Filter. This feature will include the single best play of the playoffs, "The Music City Miracle." With the Titans trailing 16-15 with 16 seconds left in their Wild Card Game against Buffalo, Titans tight end Frank Wycheck threw a lateral across the field to speedy wide receiver Kevin Dyson, who took it 75 yards for the game-winning touchdown.
NFL Under the Helmet also will showcase the top plays from both the Titans and Rams seasons and some of the best sound wirings caught of NFL stars in the 1999 season.
Pre-Super Bowl features include the EA Sports Madden Bowl, where Jamal Anderson, Ricky Williams, Simeon Rice, Tony Gonzalez, Takeo Spikes, Charlie Batch, Darrell Russell and defending champ Ray Mickens will battle for the cyber title for one of the NFLs most popular video games.
Feature reporter Brandi Chastain will test all the football skills she learned this season from players such as Michael Strahan, Jerry Rice and Phil Dawson at the NFL Experience, the leagues interactive theme park that houses 50 interactive football games and exhibits over 15 acres under one roof. A second Chastain feature, captures Brandi on the sidelines of the AFC Championship Game interacting with players, coaches and fans.
NFL Under the Helmet will conclude its first season next week with a Super Bowl recap and a Pro Bowl preview.
