RAMS QUARTERBACK KURT WARNER, FALCONS SPEEDSTER TIM DWIGHT, JOIN CHARGERS GUARD AARON TAYLOR AND CHIEFS LEADING RECEIVER TONY GONZALEZ ON THIS WEEK’S NFL UNDER THE HELMET

This Saturday’s installment of NFL Under the Helmet takes a look at the off-field activity of four NFL players and features a live performance by rockers Our Lady Peace.

The program follows Atlanta Falcons receiver and kick returner Tim Dwight in his return to Iowa to finish his degree in sports management and compete in the Big 10 track championships. Dwight showed why he is one of the most explosive returners when he captured first in the 100 and placed second in the 200.

Rams sensation Kurt Warner, his wife Brenda and son Zachary are profiled as they visit the Delta Gamma Center, a center of children with visual impairments in St. Louis. Zachary Warner suffers from near blindness, and the Warners observed and interacted with the children at the Center. During the visit, Warner was joined by teammates D’Marco Farr, Adam Timmerman and Az-Zahir Hakim.

A third segment features San Diego Chargers guard Aaron Taylor returning to DeLaSalle High School in Concord, CA. The Spartans currently enjoy a 94-game winning streak. Taylor, however, went back to the school to visit with head coach Bob Ladouceur. The coach, according to Taylor, turned around the young player’s life in high school and set him on path that ultimately took him to the Super Bowl with the Packers. Taylor was so appreciative that he presented coach Ladouceur with a Super Bowl ring.

Tony Gonzalez reminisces about his early football days in the program’s "Back in the Day" segment. The Chief’s leading receiver ruminates on his football development from his sixth grade Pop Warner days in Huntington Beach, CA up through college at Cal and finally making it in the NFL.

The show closes rockers Our Lady Peace’s driving performance of their hit "One Man Army." The song is cut with highlights of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers punishing runner Mike Alstott.

NFL Under the Helmet is an FCC-friendly show geared to teens that airs Saturdays at 12 noon ET on FOX-TV (viewers should check their local listings).
