NFL AND DETROIT POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE SEEK ADULT VOLUNTEERS
TO COACH LOCAL YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL TEAMS THIS FALL

NFL C.I.T.Y. Football Program Provides Free
Flag Football Leagues For Detroit’s Inner-City Children

WHAT: The National Football League and the Detroit Police Athletic League (PAL) are seeking adult volunteers to coach Detroit flag football teams this fall for boys and girls ages 6 - 14. The new leagues are part of the NFL’s C.I.T.Y. (Challenge and Inspire Today’s Youth) Football program which provides free recreational opportunities for inner-city children.
  Volunteers would be required to coach their teams during weekly practices and games. No prior coaching experience is necessary.
  Adults interested in volunteering to coach local C.I.T.Y. Football teams should call the Detroit PAL at (313) 596-1751.
  C.I.T.Y. Football is part of the NFL’s "Play Football" program which provides exciting new ways for children to play, watch and experience the game of football.
     
WHO: All Detroit-area adults.  
     
WHEN: Fall NFL C.I.T.Y. Flag Football Leagues will run from September through November.
