Youngsters To Receive Pointers To Help Prepare For Skills Competition
Sunday, November 16 at Three Rivers Stadium

WHAT: PITTSBURGH STEELERS quarterback KORDELL STEWART will lead a football skills clinic and autograph session for 40 Pittsburgh-area boys and girls ages 8-15, who will compete in the 1997 NFL GATORADE PUNT, PASS & KICK PITTSBURGH STEELERS TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP. The youngsters previously won Local and Sectional contests and will compete in the Steelers Team Championship at Three Rivers Stadium on Sunday, November 16.

"Gatorade is happy to provide this unique opportunity to Pittsburgh-area children who have advanced in this year’s Punt, Pass & Kick program," said William D. Schmidt, vice president of Gatorade Sports Marketing Worldwide. "Events like this help kids build a closer relationship with the NFL and inspire them to work hard to reach their goals."

NFL Gatorade Punt, Pass & Kick is part of the NFL’s "Play Football" initiative, a national effort to provide even more children with exciting ways to play, watch, experience and enjoy the game of football.
