BOOMER ESIASON AND JIM KELLY TO HOST
MOTOROLA MONDAY MORNING QUARTERBACK
ON NFL.COM

NEW YORK, October 7, 1999 – Motorola Monday Morning Quarterback, a new live Internet program co-hosted by NFL Quarterback Club founders Boomer Esiason and Jim Kelly, launches on NFL.com on Monday, October 11 at 11:00 am ET. Motorola will sponsor the program.

Each week, Esiason and Kelly will be joined by a member of the NFL Quarterback Club playing in that night’s Monday Night Football game. New York Jets wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson will be the program’s first special guest as the Jets host the Jacksonville Jaguars later that night at Giants Stadium. The 30-minute program will preview that night’s game and analyze the previous day’s NFL action.

NFL fans are encouraged to submit questions regarding the Monday Night matchup to the online hosts or to their special guest. Users also can access NFL Films-produced video highlights of Sunday’s action as well as video profiles of each week’s special guest. Links will be added to the program so that users can navigate to the NFL Quarterback Club area on NFL.com, to the NFL Shop or to the Motorola website.

"Monday Morning Quarterback will allow NFL fans to gather around a virtual water cooler to express their opinions and thoughts about that week’s NFL action in a live show format," said co-host and NFL Quarterback Club vice president Esiason.

Esiason is ABC Monday Night Football’s color analyst. Kelly is a studio analyst on ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown.

The NFL Quarterback Club is a business entity that offers corporate America the chance to associate with and tap into the popularity and the power of the NFL’s biggest stars.

Motorola is the official wireless communications sponsor of the NFL.
