NFL.COM USAGE SOARS TO ALL-TIME HIGH
October 14, 1999 – Not only are NFL fans flocking to games and tuning in on television, but the number of people following the action on nfl.com continues to rise.
NFL.com had 765,771 unique users this past Sunday, October 10 – the site’s highest total ever.
Last year on the corresponding Sunday, there were 377,954 unique users. That accounts for an increase of 103 percent.
Beginning today, the Most Memorable NFL Games of the Century will be determined by fans in the next month in voting on nfl.com. Fans can use a list of 50 memorable NFL games on nfl.com as a guide or write in their own choices.
The 10 Most Memorable Games will be revealed week by week from No. 10 beginning with Week 12 of the season. The No. 1 choice will be announced during Super Bowl XXXIV week.
