NFLHS.COM CONCLUDES INAUGURAL SEASON, SITE MOVES TOWARD INCREASED INTERACTIVITY
NEW YORK, December 28, 1999 Although the high school football season has
recently concluded, the NFL web site devoted to the high school game, nflhs.com, is moving
into a period of increased activity.
Some of the sites upcoming highlights include:
- Weekly chat sessions with NFL players and coaches. The coaches will discuss
strategies and philosophies with their high school counterparts to help expand the
coaches playbooks for the 2000 season.
NFL players will reflect upon their high school playing days, stressing the importance
of education, goal setting and life-skills.
- Film footage from NFL coaching clinics will be available on the site, geared for high
school coaches and players looking for insight and analysis from some of the top
professional coaches in the game.
- Extensive information about summer football camps taking place across the country. The
site will offer useful tips for players aiming to attend a camp in their community.
- NFL players and trainers will offer their suggestions on appropriate offseason strength
and conditioning programs.
- Updates on the post-high school plans of some of the nations top players and news
and notes on the 2000 season.
