NFLX ON TOUR SECURES FIRST THREE MAJOR PARTNERS

New York, May 30, 2000 – The NFL Experience On Tour has secured its first national sponsor, first national supplier and first national media partner, it was announced today by the NFL and On Tour, LLC, the managing agent for the Tour. NFL Experience On Tour will travel to 25 cities and recreate the excitement of NFL game day in a 120,000 square foot, family-friendly interactive theme park.

Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc., the company responsible for the PlayStationÒ game console and the upcoming PlayStationÒ 2 computer entertainment system, as well as the 989 Sports’Ô label, has signed as the Tour’s first national sponsor to promote its best-selling videogame football franchise NFL GameDayÔ . As title sponsor and event partner, Sony Computer Entertainment America will receive various on-site presence, including exhibit space and signage. Sony Computer Entertainment America also will be included in all pre-event promotions, advertising and publicity. Plans call for a six-week, six-figure media buy to promote the Tour’s arrival in each market.

NFL Pro Line licensee Adidas will be the national supplier for the tour and in that role will provide uniforms for all event staff and volunteers. Adidas merchandise also will be prominently displayed in the Tour’s retail area.

Sports Illustrated will be the national media partner for the Tour. SI will have the right to pass through its sponsorship as an added value to potential advertisers in its magazine. These pass-through sponsors will then have a presence on-site at NFLX On Tour. In return, SI will provide the Tour with a national advertising platform.

On Tour also announced that prominent agent Leigh Steinberg will be event’s lead investment partner and executive producer.

The NFL Experience On Tour fan festival atmosphere encourages the entire family to participate in an active way and allows for all ages and skill levels. The $5 million touring NFL theme park captures the multi-media excitement of game day, including exciting NFL moments, interactive drills that test physical and mental football skills, player and alumni appearances, plus food and entertainment.

In addition to providing financial backing for the project, Steinberg brings a long and successful history of sports management and numerous contacts with NFL superstars. "Perhaps the most exciting part of the NFL Experience On Tour will be its affordability and access for fans, including families," said Steinberg. "Our average ticket price will make our football experience a high quality alternative for any family."
