RAIDERS’ GANNON SETS NFL SEASON RECORD
FOR MOST 300-YARD PASSING GAMES

Oakland Raiders quarterback RICH GANNON today became the NFL’s single-season leader for most 300-yard passing games with 10 such performances in 2002, including today’s 328-yard effort in a 27-7 win over the San Diego Chargers.

Gannon passed for 328 yards today, completing 26 of 41 attempts (63.4 pct.).  He reached the 300-yard plateau today on a nine-yard completion to JERRY RICE with 10:42 remaining in the fourth quarter.
