FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAMERS AND NFL STARS TO PARTICIPATE IN PRO BOWL CHARITY CLASSIC FEB. 3 AT WAIALAE COUNTRY CLUB Limited Spots for Fans Remain AvailableHONOLULU, Hawaii – Six members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame will lead the field of NFL celebrities and local amateur golfers in the NFL All-Star Game Pro Bowl Charity Golf Classic Monday, February 3 at the Waialae Country Club. The six Pro Football Hall of Fame members include former Green Bay Packers running back Jimmy Taylor; Oakland Raiders defensive end Ted Hendricks; Kansas City Chiefs kicker Jan Stenerud: Miami Dolphins wide receiver Paul Warfield: New York Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor and Rams running back Eric Dickerson. The tournament, which will support the NFL’s annual commitment of funding various Hawaiian charities, will team these all-time greats and 20 other NFL stars of the past and present – including some members of this year’s All Star teams-- with amateur golfers at the famous Waialae course – site of the SONY Open. Entry fee for amateur players is a $1,000 tax deductible donation. The day’s events will begin with a luncheon followed by a 1 p.m. shotgun start. An awards party will end the day. Each golfer will receive a gift bag from Reebok containing NFL Pro Bowl apparel as well as an NFL All-Star Game Pro Bowl commemorative plaque bearing his or her photograph with their celebrity captain.
