PATRIOTS’ BROWN TIES FOR FOURTH-MOST
RECEPTIONS IN AN NFL GAME

New England Patriots wide receiver TROY BROWN today tied three players for the fourth-most receptions in a single NFL game with 16.

Brown caught 16 passes for 176 yards and a touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs in a 41-38 Patriots overtime victory at home.

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver TERRELL OWENS holds the record for most catches in a game with 20.  Owens caught 20 passes for 283 yards and one touchdown against Chicago on December 17, 2000.
