"NFL UNDER THE HELMET" FEATURES EAGLES’ DOUGLAS,
PATRIOTS’ BRADY, BILLS’ BLEDSOE, & CHARGERS’ SEAU
WITH MUSIC OF OUTKAST & DJ SKRIBBLE

New York, August 29, 2001 – Philadelphia Eagles defensive end HUGH DOUGLAS is getting ready for another fantastic NFL season and he has already begun to add a few new skills to his impressive list of talents.

The Eagles’ prolific pass rusher will be featured on the next episode of “NFL Under The Helmet,” Saturday, August 31 at 12:00 p.m. (check local listings) on FOX-TV.  "Under the Helmet," the NFL’s premiere magazine show, produced by NFL Films, features the best of the NFL and the world of contemporary music.

Douglas learns how to choose shots and edit his own highlight video with the help of an NFL Films producer and STEVE SABOL, the President of NFL Films.  Douglas’ highlight video will be accompanied by the OUTKAST tune “So Fresh, So Clean.”

San Diego Chargers linebacker JUNIOR SEAU, a 13-year NFL veteran and 11-time Pro Bowler, is no stranger to “Under the Helmet.”  Seau, who has participated in several features for the show in years past, will provide analysis and commentary on footage from previous games when he was wired for sound.

New England Patriots quarterback and Super Bowl XXXVI MVP TOM BRADY will also be featured looking back on his youth football days in this week’s “Back in the Day.”  Brady, who also played high school baseball, went to the same high school as Major League Baseball’s BARRY BONDS and was drafted by the Montreal Expos as a senior in high school.

“Sounds of The Game” spotlights new Buffalo Bills quarterback DREW BLEDSOE, who was miked during Buffalo’s preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Other segments include BON JOVI’s visit to New York Giants practice on August 27 and DJ SKRIBBLE mixing up the soundtrack for the best catches from the 2001 season.

"NFL Under the Helmet" airs every Saturday at noon ET on FOX-TV (check local listings). The show is hosted by RON PITTS and REBECCA GRANT
