NFL Owners Approve NFL Europe League For Two Seasons

WASHINGTON D.C. - NFL owners today approved the NFL Europe League’s business plan for the next two seasons, expiring in 2005 at the conclusion of the NFL’s existing TV contracts.

NFL owners continue to support the objectives of the league and recognize the benefits of the league, both in growing American football and the NFL’s business in Europe and in developing and evaluating players for the NFL.

NFL Europe League teams are now planning for the 2004 season and full details of the schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
