The agenda for the two-day meeting includes a variety of business reports plus NFL Competition Committee matters that were tabled from the March league meeting in Phoenix, Arizona.  One of the tabled Competition Committee subjects is the proposal by Kansas City and New England to expand the number of playoff teams from 12 to 14 and playoff games from 11 to 13.

Other topics on the agenda include reports on the status of the NFL Network, Super Bowl planning (no Super Bowls will be awarded at this meeting), NFL Europe, 2003 Pro Football Hall of Fame and NFL Kickoff Weekends, the league’s workplace diversity initiatives and its stadium financing program.

Tuesday afternoon’s session will be held at NFL Films in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey.  The meeting at NFL Films will be followed by a tour of the company’s new digital production center.

In addition to the league meeting for club owners and executives, the sixth annual NFL Coaches Career Development Symposium with a group of approximately 100 NFL assistant coaches also will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Marriott in Philadelphia.

The league meeting on Wednesday morning will open with a breakfast meeting between the assistant coaches group and the owners.
