Holder Shannon Sharpe, Eagles coach Andy Reid Site To Highlight NFL Opening Kickoff Stars, Activities & Festivities The redesigned NFL.com has a number of new wrinkles as it kicks off coverage of the 2004 NFL season. The opinionated SHANNON SHARPE, the NFL’s all-time tight end leader in receptions and receiving yards, has joined NFL.com as an analyst. Also new to NFL.com are Philadelphia Eagles head coach ANDY REID, who will write a weekly diary, Carolina Panthers defensive tackle and frequent NFL Network guest BRENTSON BUCKNER, who will contribute a column, and ADAM SCHEFTER, an award-winning sportswriter who joined NFL Network last month. Sharpe, who also serves as an analyst for CBS Sports’ NFL Today and Sirius NFL Radio, joins a talented lineup including top network television analysts TROY AIKMAN, CRIS COLLINSWORTH, BOOMER ESIASON and PHIL SIMMS. GIL BRANDT, VIC CARUCCI, GREGG EASTERBROOK and PAT KIRWAN also write weekly columns. When logging on to NFL.com, fans also will find a streamlined front-page layout featuring a new design which will accommodate more and larger photos. Last month, NFL.com launched its most extensive array of fantasy football products and its first-ever fantasy football ad campaign.
