FOR USE AS DESIRED NFL MINICAMP DATES ANNOUNCEDThe NFL announced a full schedule of team minicamp dates today, with 24 of the 32 clubs conducting minicamps this week. “We get to look at our new players, No. 1,” says Detroit Lions head coach STEVE MARIUCCI about the opening of minicamps. “No. 2, we just start working again.” Although teams have been conducting conditioning programs for weeks, minicamp brings the new season’s first real taste of football. One of those anxious for this weekend is the Arizona Cardinals’ DENNIS GREEN, one of seven new NFL head coaches. “It doesn’t matter who your roommate is, or where you eat your meal, or what time practice starts or what time it ends,” says Green. “Everything in minicamp is based on trying to create an atmosphere that will help us win.” The NFL minicamp schedule:
