NFL.COM SCORES KICKOFF WEEKEND RECORD

9.4 Million Visits to NFL.com from Thursday-Sunday

 Traffic Increases 38% from 2003

NFL.com set a four-day Kickoff Weekend record (Sept. 9-12) with 9.4 million visits – up 38 percent from 6.8 million in 2003, it was announced today.

Four million of the visits to NFL.com came on Sunday (up from 3.3 million in 2003).

The traffic record comes days after the relaunch of NFL.com, which features:

·        New analysts SHANNON SHARPE, ANDY REID, BRENTSON BUCKNER and ADAM SCHEFTER.

·        A streamlined front-page layout featuring a new design which will accommodate more and larger photos.

·        Enhanced NFL Network content, including daily video clips from “NFL Total Access.” 

• The most extensive array of fantasy football products on the web, including the “NFL Fantasy Extra” subscription service, which features enhanced content, including custom video highlights and expert analysis.

In December 2003, 13.88 million unique users visited the NFL Internet Network -- the best month of any sports league in the 2003-04 season.
