4.9 Million Visits to NFL.com from Friday-Sunday
Traffic Increases 47% from 2003

NFL.com set a three-day NFL Draft weekend record (April 23-25) with 4.9 million visitors – up 47 percent from 3.3 million in 2003, it was announced today.

With the 2004 NFL Draft, NFL.com began its 10th season of NFL coverage.  Exclusive coverage and behind-the-scenes features for draft weekend included:

  • Live “Draft Tracker” featuring coverage of each selection.
  • Live web cams in select team draft rooms, including a view of the San Diego Chargers’ first selection on chargers.com.
  • Q&A’s with the six top draft choices in New York: ELI MANNING, ROBERT GALLERY, KELLEN WINSLOW, ROY WILLIAMS, DE ANGELO HALL, and BEN ROETHLISBERGER shortly after they were selected.
  • Live Audio from the Draft Podium at the Theater at Madison Square Garden.
  • NFL Network coverage and features.
  • Inside analysis from Gil Brandt, Vic Carucci, Pat Kirwan, Gregg Easterbrook, and others.

The NFL Internet Network, comprised of NFL.com, the websites of the League’s 32 clubs and related sites, was established in March 2000.  The NFL Internet Network agreement was recently extended for 15 years until 2019 by vote of NFL clubs.
