MEDIA ADVISORY: 2004 NFL FALL MEETING

The annual NFL Spring Meeting will be conducted at the Ritz Carlton on Amelia Island near Jacksonville on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 25-26.

The agenda for the two-day business meeting includes a variety of reports and matters that were tabled from the March league meeting in Palm Beach, Florida. 

There will be a series of committee meetings on Tuesday morning before the league meeting begins at 12:30 PM ET.

Topics on the agenda include a discussion of the Los Angeles area stadium initiative, an update by the NFL Broadcast Committee on the league’s upcoming television negotiations, a report on planning for next February’s Jacksonville Super Bowl and other Super Bowls, and reports by the Finance Committee, Business Ventures Committee, and the NFL Management Council.

On Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM, there will be a reception hosted by Jacksonville Jaguars owner Wayne Weaver for NFL personnel and the media aboard the USS John F. Kennedy.  The reception is part of an ongoing NFL initiative to honor the U.S. military.
