FOUR RECEIVERS CHANGE TEAMS AT NFL TRADING DEADLINE

Four wide receivers changed teams today in trades prior to the NFL’s 4:00 PM ET trading deadline.

The Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys exchanged wide receivers, with QUINCY MORGAN going from the Browns to the Cowboys for ANTONIO BRYANT.

The Oakland Raiders traded JERRY RICE to the Seattle Seahawks for an unannounced draft choice, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers traded KEENAN MC CARDELL to the San Diego Chargers for unannounced draft choices.

These are the first transactions on the day of the trading deadline since 1999. On October 19 of that year, Cleveland acquired running back ABDUL-KARIM Al-JABBAR from Miami for draft choices, and Jacksonville obtained defensive end REGAN UPSHAW from Tampa Bay for a draft pick.
