WESTBROOK NAMED TO NFC PRO BOWL SQUAD Philadelphia Eagles running back BRIAN WESTBROOK has been added to the NFC Pro Bowl roster. Westbrook, the 10th Eagle to be named an NFL All-Star, will replace Seattle Seahawks running back SHAUN ALEXANDER, who will miss the game due to injury (wrist). Westbrook, in his 3rd year out of Villanova, had 1,515 yards from scrimmage and 10 touchdowns in 2004. The Washington D.C. native was instrumental in the Eagles 27-10 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship game totaling 135 yards from scrimmage. This will be Westbrook’s 1st trip to the Pro Bowl. |
