MATT HASSELBECK & BEN ROETHLISBERGER AMONG NFL STARS PARTICIPATING IN John Elway and Dan Marino Among NFL QB Greats Participating in Separate Competition Some of the NFL’s top quarterbacks, including JAKE DELHOMME (Carolina Panthers), MATT HASSELBECK (Seattle Seahawks) and BEN ROETHLISBERGER (Pittsburgh Steelers), will participate in a series of events that put their football skills to the test when they appear in the EA SPORTS® NFL Quarterback Challenge. RICH EISEN of NFL Network teams with CBS Sports’ BOOMER ESIASON and BONNIE BERNSTEIN as broadcasters of the event which is set to air nationally as two, one-hour specials on Saturday, July 16, from 5-6 p.m. ET/2-3 p.m. PT and Sunday, July 17, from 2-3 p.m. ET/11-12 p.m. PT, on CBS Sports. n its 16th consecutive year, the competition tests the NFL’s premier quarterbacks in four different skills competitions, including accuracy, speed and mobility, distance, and “No Huddle.” Other current quarterbacks featured in the taped event, which took place at the Bahia Mar Beach Resort & Yachting Center in Greater Fort Lauderdale earlier this year, include DREW BREES (San Diego Chargers), JOEY HARRINGTON (Detroit Lions), BYRON LEFTWICH (Jacksonville Jaguars) and CARSON PALMER (Cincinnati Bengals). Participating in the “No Huddle” timed event in which the quarterback must complete passes to receivers are TORRY HOLT (St. Louis Rams), JOE HORN (New Orleans Saints), CHAD JOHNSON (Cincinnati Bengals), and KEENAN McCARDELL (San Diego Chargers). Some of the NFL’s quarterback greats, including JOHN ELWAY, BOOMER ESIASON, BERNIE KOSAR and DAN MARINO, will compete in a separate competition during the event.
