FANS TO CALL TWO PLAYS IN PRO BOWL Fans Will Select Offensive Play for Each Conference To Run During Fourth Quarter Last Sunday, a record 468,818 fan votes were cast for the Cadillac Super Bowl MVP via online and wireless voting. This Sunday, fans will vote on NFL.com to select two plays to run in the fourth quarter of the 2005 Pro Bowl (ESPN, 7:30 PM ET). Beginning today and continuing through halftime of the game, fans can vote on NFL.com for one of four plays submitted by AFC and NFC coaches earlier this week (see play lists below). In the fourth quarter, the fans’ choice will be relayed to the coaches. One coach from each conference will discuss his team’s play with an ESPN sideline reporter moments before it is run on the Aloha Stadium field. NFL.com "Pick-A-Play" was introduced at the 2004 Pro Bowl with more than 60,000 votes cast. The fans’ NFC play – "Press 67 Solid Seattle" – resulted in a 33-yard touchdown pass from St. Louis Rams quarterback MARC BULGER to Atlanta Falcons tight end ALGE CRUMPLER which keyed the conference’s victorious rally from a 25-point deficit. "Fake Stretch Right Flea Flicker" – the fans’ AFC choice – went for a 19-yard completion from Kansas City Chiefs quarterback TRENT GREEN to Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver CHAD JOHNSON. Following are the 2005 NFL.com Pro Bowl "Pick-A-Play" choices, as submitted by the Atlanta Falcons’ and Pittsburgh Steelers’ coaches. (Complete descriptions of each play are available on NFL.com).
