BROWNS SEASON TICKET TOTAL BREAKS 52,000

The Cleveland Browns have announced that the Cleveland Stadium Building Fund has received 52,449 season ticket applications for the new Cleveland Stadium. Renewal estimates of the 39,100 1995 season ticket holders show that more than 90 percent have applied for season tickets.

Season tickets were ordered by fans in 38 states, including ten from Alaska and two from Hawaii. Pennsylvania had the second highest number of applicants, followed by Michigan and New York.

The Browns will return to the playing field in 1999.
