STEVE YOUNG GUEST HOSTS "THE SPORTS ILLUSTRATED FOR KIDS SHOW"

San Francisco 49ers QB Steve Young will guest host "The Sports Illustrated For Kids Show" this Saturday, October 4 on CBS (11:00-11:30 a.m., ET/PT in most markets; check local listings for air times.) Co-host Eugene Byrd meets up with the star quarterback at Brigham Young University, where Steve started his career as eighth-string quarterback. Steve's determinationa and hard work led him to the 49ers where he was ultimately named both the league and Super Bowl MVP.

"The SI For Kids Show" airs on Satudays on CBS and is designed to be informative, educational and entertaining for kids ages seven and up. The series provides both information content as well as pro-social messages by utilizing something kids love - - sports - - as a metaphor for everyday life.
