NFL.COM TO FEATURE FAN VOTING ON NFLS MOST MEMORABLE
GAMES OF THE CENTURY
NEW YORK, October 12, 1999 NFL fans around the world will have a chance to vote for the most memorable NFL games of the century beginning Thursday, October 14 on NFL.com, the official site of the National Football League.
In an exciting new feature, fans will help the league celebrate the end of the 20th century by choosing the 10 most memorable NFL games in history ranging from the 1967 "Ice Bowl," to the New York Jets upset victory over the Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III, to the classic 1994 Monday-night showdown between quarterbacks Joe Montana of Kansas City and John Elway of Denver.
Fans can use a list of 50 memorable games on nfl.com as a guide or vote for their own selections. The top 10 choices will be revealed weekly in reverse order, beginning with the 10th most-memorable game of the century in Week 12 and leading up to the top choice, which will be revealed prior to Super Bowl XXXIV in Atlanta, Georgia.
Accompanying the fans top 10 choices will be a complete multimedia presentation, including video, photos, and chats with the key personalities from some of the NFLs most memorable games.
