NFL TO OBSERVE MOMENT OF SILENCE IN HONOR OF WALTER PAYTON
All National Football League games this weekend will observe a moment of silence in remembrance of Walter Payton, the NFLs all-time leading rusher, who died on Monday.
The moment of silence will commence at kickoff with all 22 players from the kicking and receiving teams in position on the field. In addition, NFL flags at the stadiums this weekend will be flown at half-mast.
Payton is the NFLs all-time leading rusher with 16,726 career yards.
