DIVISIONAL PLAYOFF SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

Commissioner PAUL TAGLIABUE announced today the schedule of sites, dates and times for the National Football League Divisional Playoffs of January 6-7 (all times Eastern):

NFL DIVISIONAL PLAYOFFS

Saturday, January 6

NFC: 12:30 PM (ET) New Orleans (10-6), Philadelphia (11-5) or Tampa Bay (10-6) at Minnesota (11-5) (FOX-TV)
AFC: 4:00 PM (ET) Baltimore (12-4), Denver (11-5) or Miami (11-5) at Oakland (12-4) (CBS-TV)

Sunday, January 7

AFC: 12:30 PM (ET) Baltimore (12-4), Denver (11-5) or Indianapolis (10-6) at Tennessee (13-3) (CBS-TV)
NFC: 4:15 PM (ET) Philadelphia (11-5), Tampa Bay (10-6) or St. Louis (10-6) at New York Giants (12-4) (FOX-TV)


In the Divisional Playoffs, the division champion with the best record in each conference is host to the surviving Wild Card team with the lowest playoff ranking. The division champion with the second-best record in each conference is host to either the division champion with the third-best record or the surviving Wild Card team with the highest playoff ranking. There are no restrictions on intradivision games.

Wild Card Weekend is this Saturday and Sunday. The schedule:

The AFC and NFC Championship Games will be played on Sunday, January 14. The NFC Championship will be played at 12:30 PM ET, and the AFC Championship at 4:05 PM ET.

Super Bowl XXXV will be played at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on Sunday, January 28.

The annual AFC-NFC Pro Bowl will be played in Honolulu, Hawaii on Sunday, February 4.
