KICK OFF OFFICIATING SEMINARS APRIL 15
Programs Encourage Involvement in Football Officiating
In an effort to promote participation in football officiating, the NFL, NCAA and National Federation of State High School Associations are hosting four National Football Officiating Seminars beginning Saturday, April 15.
The one-day programs are designed to encourage participation in football officiating at all levels, particularly in youth and high school football.
Included in each of the eight-hour programs are keynote speakers from the NFL Officiating Department; panel discussions with NFL, NCAA and National Federation game officials on the philosophy of officiating; and a seminar on videotape usage in football officiating covering the passing, running and kicking games.
The cost is $25 per person and includes lunch and an officiating guide. Class size is limited to 125 people. For more information or to sign up, interested parties should call Al Hynes of the NFL Officiating Department at 800-688-4635.
