TITANS ENCOURAGE LOCAL SCHOOLCHILDREN
TO READ ABOUT "SUPER" SEASON

Tennessee Titans Owner and Chairman of the Board K.S. "BUD" ADAMS is leading an effort to encourage area schoolchildren to read during the summer months.

This Tuesday (5/9), the Titans distributed 33,000 Titans game programs from the team’s 1999 Super Bowl season to elementary school youngsters in Davidson County and six surrounding counties.

A total of 139 elementary school principals were sent a letter inviting their school to participate, and those that responded received one program and bookmark per student. All schools also received a 1999 Titans media guide for their school library.
