STATEMENT FROM A LEAGUE SPOKESPERSON:

Larry Webster of the Baltimore Ravens has been suspended indefinitely for violating the NFL Substance Abuse Policy. Webster was previously suspended for the first six games of the 1995 season and the entire 1996 season for violating the NFL Substance Abuse Policy.

Webster is not eligible to be reinstated until after the Ravens’ eighth game of the 2000 season.
