KIDS EXPERIENCE SUPER BOWL THROUGH
NFL WEB SITE PLAYFOOTBALL.COM

Tony Dungy’s Sons To Bring Kids Sights, Sounds And Excitement Of Super Bowl

Kids can share in the Super Bowl experience through PlayFootball.com, the NFL’s official Web site for pre-teen kids. In addition to polls, trivia and contests throughout the playoffs, kids will get daily reports, pictures and audio during the week leading up to the big game.

Super Bowl week reports on the site will be courtesy of James (age 14) and Eric (age 9) Dungy, sons of Tampa Bay coach Tony Dungy.

From now through the Super Bowl, kids can enjoy:

A new poll each week on the playoffs and the Super Bowl, including the kids’ pick for their Super Bowl favorite.

Fun Super Bowl trivia (the ice used at the game weighs more than 360 baby elephants).

Helmet Scavenger Hunt, where kids search the site to find helmets for each of the playoff teams for chances to win NFL prizes.

Playoff brackets to help young fans follow the Road to the Super Bowl.

During the week leading up to the big game, kids will feel like they are in Tampa, with a kids-eye view from James and Eric Dungy. Kids will vote on the questions they would like to see asked and events covered. Examples of Super Bowl week coverage include:

Sound bites, pictures and stories from the players and coaches about what it’s like being in the biggest game of the year.

A kids-eye view of the NFL Experience, 20 acres of interactive football attractions, exhibits and games that is expected to attract 100,000+ fans.

Reports and pictures from fun and wacky events during the week, including former and current NFL football players pulling a jumbo jet.

Former MVP Steve Young will tell kids what it is like to be in the Super Bowl.

PlayFootball.com offers interactive games, tips on playing football, information about the teams and players, and the Punt, Pass & Kick and NFL Flag programs. The site also offers position-specific newsletters with tips on becoming better players.

PlayFootball.com is part of the NFL's overall Super Bowl package, which is highlighted by Superbowl.com.
