100+ PASSER-RATING SEASONS: Young has six career 100+ passer-rating seasons, more than any other player. Second on the list is former teammate Joe Montana with three such seasons. Green Bay Packers quarterback BART STARR is the only other player in history with two 100+ passer-rating seasons.
Youngs six 100+ seasons all took place between the 1991 to 1998 seasons. The two years in that span that Young did not have a 100+ rating, he came close with a 92.3 rating in 1995 and a 97.2 in 1996. Young also had 100+ passer ratings in two other seasons (120.8 in both 1987 and 1989) but did not have enough attempts to qualify among the league leaders.
