SATELLITE NEWS SERVICE BEGINS SEPTEMBER 5;
INITIAL
FEEDS FEATURE KICKOFF 2001 SEASON PREVIEWS
The twice-weekly NFL
Satellite News Service, featuring weekly highlights of all 31 NFL teams, will
debut next Wednesday, September 5.
The NFL Satellite
News Service provides TV stations with 16 team highlight segments on Wednesdays
and 15 on Fridays, giving stations access to footage of all 31 NFL teams every
week.
The feeds for the
first week (September 5 and September 7) will include previews of each team as
the NFL approaches Kickoff 2001 on September 9-10.
The
NFL Satellite News Service is available free-of-charge to TV sports directors
for use during regularly scheduled newscasts.
The
service will be available every Wednesday and Friday between 12:30-1:00 PM ET
during the regular season and postseason.
