Habitat for Humanity Super Bowl Build

WHAT:          The NFL is building a lasting Super Bowl legacy in the form of a new Habitat for Humanity house in the St. Roch neighborhood of New Orleans. 

                    The event kicks off a week long “Super Bowl Blitz Build” with Habitat for Humanity. State and local 
                    government officials and representatives from Habitat for Humanity and the New Orleans Redevelopment
                    Authority will be on hand for the groundbreaking ceremony of the NFL-sponsored house. 

                    On Thursday, January 31, New Orleans Saints QB Aaron Brooks and San Diego Chargers DE
                    Marcellus Wiley exchange their helmets and pads for hammers and saws to help build the NFL house.

                     On Saturday, February 2, a New Orleans-area family will receive keys to their first home.
