BRONCOS’ O’NEAL TIES NFL INTERCEPTION RECORD
In Denver’s 20-6 victory over Kansas City today, Broncos cornerback DELTHA O’NEAL had four interceptions, tying the NFL single-game record. O’Neal, who had one interception in the first and third quarters and two pickoffs in the fourth quarter, is the 18th player to intercept four passes in a game. O’Neal is the first player to accomplish the feat since KWAMIE LASSITER of Arizona intercepted four passes against San Diego on Dec. 27, 1988. |
