37 PLAYERS GRANTED SPECIAL ELIGIBILITY FOR 2002 DRAFT

The National Football League announced today the names of 37 players who have been granted special eligibility for the 2002 NFL Draft on April 20-21.

Each of the 37 players has been out of high school for at least three seasons and each has submitted a written application in which he renounced his remaining college football eligibility.  The deadline for receiving applications was January 11.
