STATEMENT BY AN NFL
SPOKESPERSON:
Cornerback SHAWN SPRINGS of the Seattle Seahawks has
been suspended for the Seahawks’ next four regular-season games for
violating the NFL Policy on Anabolic Steroids and Related Substances.
Springs’
suspension begins immediately. He is suspended for the club’s next four
games, including this Sunday’s contest against the San Diego Chargers.
Springs is eligible to return to the Seahawks’ active roster on Monday,
December 24 following the team’s December 23 game against the New York
Giants.
