AMONG CELEBRITIES WHO TEAMED TOGETHER FOR CHARITY
IN THIRD ANNUAL NFL CELEBRITY GOLF SHOOTOUT

FOX to Televise Event on Saturday, Sept. 8

Some unusual foursomes hit the links for charity at the legendary La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., for the NFL Celebrity Golf Shootout.  NFL stars Tony Siragusa, Jason Sehorn, Michael Strahan and Emmitt Smith were joined by Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Arnold, Meat Loaf, Chris Noth and others to raise $350,000 for NFL and player charities. Since its inception, more than $1 million has been raised from this tournament.

FOX will televise this funny and spirited event on Saturday, Sept. 8, at 4:30 p.m. ET/1:30 p.m. PT, following the New York Yankees/Boston Red Sox Game, except in California where the two-hour show can be seen at 4:30 p.m. PT.

The full field comprised four teams of former and current NFL greats with some of today’s top stars from television, movies and entertainment.
