SHERYL CROW & R. KELLY TO
PERFORM
AT HALFTIME OF AFC & NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES

Interscope recording artist Sheryl Crow and Jive Records recording artist
R. Kelly will perform at halftime of the AFC and NFC Championship games,
the NFL announced today. The AFC & NFC Championship games will be
broadcast on January 27, 2002.
The AFC Championship
game between the New England Patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers will air
on CBS at 12:30 p.m. ET. The NFC Championship game between the
Philadelphia Eagles and the St. Louis Rams will air on FOX at 4:15 p.m.
ET.
Crow will
perform
"Soak Up The Sun," a track which appears on her next album due out in late
March. Crow won a Grammy
for Best Rock Album at the February 1997 awards and
has been nominated this year for a Grammy for Best Female
Country Vocal Performance.
Kelly will perform “The
World’s Greatest” from the soundtrack to Ali, the Sony Pictures
Entertainment motion picture starring Will Smith. Kelly won three Grammy
Awards in 1998 for his hit “I Believe I Can Fly” from the motion picture
Space Jam. He also is the recipient of two Soul Train Awards and
two NAACP awards for his fifth solo album, TP-2.COM.

songwriter, producer and remixer, Kelly has earned multi-platinum sales
