NFL AND PLAYERS INC ANNOUNCE MARKETING PARTNERSHIP

NFL Properties and PLAYERS INC, the licensing and marketing subsidiary of the NFL Players Association, today announced a new marketing partnership. According to the terms of the agreement, NFL Properties will, for the first time, have the right to market the NFL player group licensing rights to its current and future sponsors.

NFL sponsors will have access to more than l,800 active NFL players for television and radio commercials, print advertising, point-of-sale displays, appearances and other forms of player usage. This new alliance is designed to further elevate the marketing of NFL players and to provide improved access and added value for NFL sponsors.

This announced marketing agreement complements the recently signed Internet Agreement between PLAYERS INC and the NFL, which integrates nflplayers.com into the NFL Internet Network, allowing the NFL, clubs and players to be marketed as a complete package over the internet.

"We continue to strengthen our relationship with the NFL Players Association and PLAYERS INC in a variety of areas," said NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue. "This new marketing partnership will benefit the league, players, sponsors and fans by bringing together what previously were fragmented programs."

"Joining forces with the NFL to market our assets cooperatively strengthens the value of sponsorship and provides increased player access for the fans."
