FANS TO VOTE ONLINE FOR SUPER BOWL MVP
Votes on SUPERBOWL.COM
Will Count 20 Percent
Fans will have a say in determining who is named the Super Bowl XXXVI Most Valuable Player. Beginning in the fourth quarter, fans may vote on the SUPERBOWL.COM MVP ballot for whom they believe is the Super Bowl’s MVP. The fan vote will count roughly 20 percent with another 15 on-site media members representing the other 80 percent. The MVP receives the Pete Rozelle Trophy and the world’s first reconfigurable luxury SUT, the Cadillac Escalade EXT. Cadillac is the official vehicle of Super Bowl XXXVI. The announcement will be made immediately following the game on FOX. In a unique collaboration, the NFL will work with both Fox Sports, which will broadcast Super Bowl XXXVI, and SportsLine.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:SPLN), the leading global Internet sports media company and publisher of CBS SportsLine.com. The NFL and Fox Sports will team for cross promotion on air and share some content on both SUPERBOWL.COM and FoxSports.com.
