MEDIA NOTICE: NFL SCHEDULE, WEEKS 15-17
Below is a listing of the NFL schedule for the final three weeks of the 2001 season. Please note that some of the day and time listings may be different than in past years. This weekend’s schedule (Week 15) features three Saturday national television games starting at 1:30 PM ET (CBS), 5:00 PM ET (FOX), and 9:00 PM ET (ABC). Two gametimes on Sunday have been switched: Jacksonville at Minnesota is now at 1:00 PM ET, and Cleveland at Green Bay will be played at 4:15 PM ET. There is a Sunday night game (ESPN), but no Monday night game this week (Christmas Eve). In Week 16, there is a Saturday national TV game at 9:00 PM ET (ABC), a Sunday night game (ESPN), but no Monday night game (New Year’s Eve). The final week of the regular season, originally scheduled as Week 2 but postponed due to the terrorist attacks, will be played on Sunday and Monday, January 6-7, with some time changes (see schedule below). The 2001 NFL playoffs: Wild Card Weekend, January 12-13; Divisional Playoffs, January 19-20; Championship Games, January 27; Super Bowl XXXVI, February 3; and Pro Bowl, February 9.
