Sports Reups as the NFL’s Exclusive Network
Radio Home Deal Includes New Promotional Campaigns

2002 –
Westwood One/CBS Radio Sports (NYSE: WON) and the National Football League
(NFL) announced today the renewal of a multi-year agreement for Westwood
One/CBS Radio Sports to continue as the exclusive network radio home of
the NFL.
Westwood One/CBS Radio
Sports, the NFL’s partner since 1987, will continue to broadcast regular
season and postseason NFL games, including the Pro Football Hall of Fame
Game, Monday Night Football, the NFL Playoffs, the Super Bowl and the Pro
Bowl.
As part of the agreement,
the NFL and Westwood/CBS Radio Sports will create extensive promotional
campaigns across the networks and programs of Westwood One.

record-breaking season the next step was obvious -- an extension of the

The Westwood One/CBS Radio
Sports 2002-2003 NFL broadcast schedule will feature 87 games, including
17 Monday Night Games, the NFL Playoffs, the AFC and NFC Championships,
Super Bowl XXXVII, the Pro Bowl and the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game.
The Westwood One/CBS Radio Sports NFL broadcast schedule kicks off on
Thursday, September 5, 2002 as the San Francisco 49ers visit the New York
Giants. The first Westwood One/CBS Radio Sports Monday Night Football game
features a rematch of last season’s AFC Championship game with the
Pittsburgh Steelers visiting the defending Super Bowl Champion New England
Patriots on September 9, 2002.
