KURT WARNER GREETS FANS ON
NFL COLLECTOR HOTLINE

 St. Louis Rams receivers Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt frequently connect with Kurt Warner long distance.  Now NFL fans will be greeted by the Pro Bowl quarterback long distance through their telephones on the NFL Hobby Shop hotline.

Starting today, Warner will greet NFL fans with a recorded message when they call the toll-free NFL collector hotline (866-NFL-PACK).  The new hotline directs collectors to “Officially Authorized NFL Hobby Shops,” in their area as well as information on new NFL cards, promotions and NFL news.

The Officially Authorized NFL Hobby Shop Program is an innovative program with more than 2,300 hobby shops nationwide expected to participate.  It is the first such program among professional sports leagues. It offers NFL incentives and benefits for trading card and hobby shops to pass on to NFL collectors.

Retailers who participate in the Authorized NFL Hobby Shop Program enjoy free access to:

·           A listing on toll-free NFL collector hotline 1-866-NFL-PACK, which directs collectors to “Officially Authorized NFL Hobby Shops”

·           1-866-NFL-PACK also offers local hobby shop promotions and highlights NFL product releases

·           “NFL Player of the Day” promotion where collectors can win a fun afternoon with an NFL player

·           Sponsorship opportunities for hobby stores by leveraging NFL events and assets

·           Consultants to help develop innovative NFL in-store promotions and programs

·           “Officially Authorized NFL Hobby Shop” point-of-sale and promotional materials

·           “Officially Authorized NFL Hobby Shop” window sign, authenticating store participation

·           Sweepstakes opportunities to win NFL collectibles for store giveaways or customer incentive programs, and other special NFL-themed advantages

·           Quarterly NFL newsletter with football and industry updates from around the league

All participating hobby shops are identified by an 8” x 14” red football-shaped window sign with text “Officially Authorized NFL Hobby Shop” encapsulating the NFL and PLAYERS INC logos.

Along with being listed on the 1-866-NFL-PACK collector hotline, participating retailers may announce key initiatives and promotions in their stores. Authorized NFL Hobby Shops may offer customers special programs during the NFL season including player appearances, NFL game tickets and merchandise giveaways.
