The Tennessee Titans (13-3), the winningest wild card team ever, are certainly popular in Nashville’s TV homes.

The Titans concluded their season last Sunday with a 47-36 victory in Pittsburgh, and Titans fans watched in big numbers.

The game drew a 28.8 rating – the Titans’ highest in their three years in Tennessee -- on CBS affiliate WTVF. The rating was higher than any University of Tennessee game this season, including last Sunday’s prime-time Vols’ loss in the Fiesta Bowl.

Who says Tennessee is strictly a college football state?
